Declutter and depersonalize your space - this will help potential buyers see the home as their own.

There's no doubt that a cluttered and disorganized space can be off-putting, especially when it comes to putting your home on the market. For maximum impact, it's important to take the time to declutter and personalize your space in order to create a warm and welcoming environment for potential buyers. By removing unneeded or unwanted items from your home, you will not only make it look bigger and cleaner but will also help create a clear aesthetic that showcases your style and taste. This can be as simple as organizing books on shelves or displaying artwork on your walls, or you may want to go the extra mile by making small design changes such as hanging curtains in front of windowed walls or adding comfortable furniture. Whatever steps you choose to take, remember that taking the time to stage your home is essential for creating a positive first impression with prospective buyers.

Make any necessary repairs or updates - no one wants to buy a home that needs work.

When it comes to home staging, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First and foremost, remember that staging is all about creating an inviting space that potential buyers can see themselves living in. With that in mind, you want to make sure your home is in tip-top shape before putting it on the market. This means any repairs or updates that need to be made should be taken care of beforehand. After all, no one wants to see a leaky faucet or a cracks in the wall when they're trying to envision themselves in your home. By taking care of these things ahead of time, you'll increase the chances of getting your home sold quickly - and for top dollar.

Neutralize your decor - stick to light and airy colors that won't turn buyers away.

First impressions are everything! That's why it's important to stage your home in a way that will appeal to potential buyers. One of the most important aspects of staging is creating a neutral decor scheme. This means using colors and furniture that won't distract from the features of the room. It's also important to keep personal belongings to a minimum. Too many personal items can make a room feel cluttered and small. Instead, focus on highlighting the best features of each room. By following these simple tips, you can create a space that any potential buyer will be able to picture themselves in.

When most people think of shopping, they think of malls, big-box stores, and online retailers. However, shopping local has many benefits that can't be found in those other places. In this blog post, we will discuss the benefits of shopping locally in your community and how it can improve your life!

The Personal Touch

In a world of big box stores and online shopping, it can be easy to forget the personal touch that comes with shopping local. When you shop at a local business, you're not just supporting the owner – you're supporting the whole community. Local businesses are typically smaller and family-owned, which means that your purchase has a direct impact on the people who live and work in your area. In addition to supporting the local economy, shopping local also allows you to form personal relationships with the people who own and operate the businesses. They get to know you by name, and they're always happy to help out with whatever you need. So next time you're looking for that perfect something, remember to shop local – it'll make all the difference.

Better For The Economy

When it comes to supporting the local economy, there's no better way to do it than by shopping local. By keeping your hard-earned dollars within the community, you're not only helping to create jobs and boost the local tax base, but you're also helping to ensure that your community remains a vibrant and thriving place to live.

Of course, there are other benefits to shopping local as well. When you buy from locally owned businesses, you're more likely to get better customer service and higher-quality products. And since locally owned businesses typically rely less on advertising and more on word-of-mouth, you can be confident that you're getting the best bang for your buck.

Helps The Environment

When it comes to shopping, we all want to get the best deal possible. However, it's important to remember that the lowest price isn't always the best value. In fact, shopping local can have a big impact on the environment. For one thing, local businesses often source their products from nearby suppliers, which cuts down on transportation emissions. Furthermore, small businesses typically use less energy and generate less waste than large corporations. And when you shop at a locally owned store, you're also supporting your community. Local businesses create jobs and help to boost the local economy. So next time you're looking for a bargain, remember that shopping local is good for the environment and good for your community.

Better Quality

Sure, you can find cheap goods just about anywhere. But when it comes to quality, you're usually better off shopping local. That's because local businesses typically have better relationships with suppliers and can offer higher quality goods as a result. They also tend to have more knowledgeable staff who can help you find exactly what you're looking for. And if you're not happy with a purchase, you can usually take it back to the store and get a refund or exchange without any hassle. So next time you're looking for quality goods, be sure to support your local businesses!

Ever sat there and wondered, "I wonder what deep-fried mashed potato balls would taste like?" if the answer is yes, then I have just the place for you. If the answer was no, I feel sad for you.

Let me present to you On the Lam, the very place you can find Puffed Potatoes! AKA Golden Deep Fried Mashed Potato Balls of pure deliciousness served with a side of sour cream for dipping. You can thank me later, don't worry!
If you think this is the only thing this restaurant has to offer, let me assure you it's not!
On The Lam specializes in Gourmet + Raw like no other! Their menu changes weekly, and they offer new specials every weekl! Also, if Oysters is your thing, this is your place!
Let me enlighten you on a few of my favourites off the menu that I personally have tried SO FAR...
First off, the tenderloin, oh my god, when I tell you it's the best I have ever had, I mean it wholeheartedly
Next off, the pork chop, literally can cut into it with a butter knife, not even kidding, and the FLAVOUR is next level.
Personally, I have never been one to go to a restaurant and order a burger. Still, OTL has literally the most mouth-watering, food coma-inducing burger I have ever tried. Do yourself a favour and order the burger. No regrets will be had, other than maybe having to unbutton your jeans, but hey, that's the price you pay!
The sides, ohhhhhh the sides. If the Puffed Potatoes weren't enough to entice you to go there, they offer more than those for sides and trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Also, did I mention that they have an UNREAL cocktail menu?!
Owner Grant serves up the best cocktails ever! Did someone say "double"?

It's pretty safe for me to say OTL is my all-time favourite little spot in Brantford where I can go and GUARANTEE I'm getting extraordinary service and food out of this world!

Now like I said, Run, Don't Walk, and Get the damn puffs!!!!

Cheers for local craft beers!!!

Fellow craft beer lovers unite! Welcome to Mash Paddle Brewing, one of my (many) favourite breweries in Brantford. Let's be serious, how do you pick just one?

In Brantford's beautiful West Brant in the historic site of The Brantford Cordage Company, is where you can find Mash Paddle! One of my favourite things about this building is the rustic brick beam atmosphere, making it a cozy little space to enjoy a cold glass of freshly poured beer from the taproom!
While you're there, feel free to enjoy a selection of games or some live entertainment on Saturday afternoons from local artists

Don't feel like staying and having a couple? that's cool too! They have a retail shop with a fully stocked fridge of all your favourites to take home and enjoy on your couch, or backyard, or friends, or hey shower beers anyone?

It was established in 2014 over an obvious mutual love for craft beer, and Thank god for that because it's absolutely delicious!!! They craft only the freshest, preservative free, quality liquid gold.

Let's talk about the selection shall we?

Two of my personal favs are the Unamed Pale Ale and the Citrinatti  Bengal
The Unamed Pale Ale is an IPA with an easy start, hoppy finish and a crisp sweet aftertaste, perfect for those who enjoy a lighter IPA
The Citrinatti Bengal has flavours of grapefruit and mango with a bitterness on the finish, for those who like a little tang like me!

Don't believe me? Get in your car right now, drive to West Brant and try it for yourself.

You can thank me later!
